OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated May 19, 2026, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective on and after June 23, 2026, to approve the Minister of Public Works entering into the Reconciliation Agreement for Commercial Truck Driver Entry-level Training with the governments of Canada and all other Canadian provinces and territories, committing to the implementation of entry-level training for commercial drivers in Nova Scotia, substantially in the form set forth in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the Agreement.
