Order in Council 996/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Sylvie Charron was reappointed as full-time member and Vice Chair of the Landlord and Tenant Board for a fixed term of five years, effective October 18, 2017, by Order in Council O.C. 2002/2017;

Whereas Sylvie Charron was reappointed as full-time member and Vice Chair of the Social Benefits Tribunal for a fixed term of five years, effective October 18, 2017, by Order in Council O.C. 2004/2017;

And

whereas Sylvie Charron tendered her resignation effective June 8, 2019;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 77(

a) of the Legislation Act, 2006 , subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997 and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Orders in Council O.C. 2002/2017 and 2004/2017 be revoked effective June 8, 2019.
