OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated April 14, 2026, and pursuant to

Section 32 of

Chapter 6 of the Acts of 1996, the Meat Inspection Act , is pleased to amend the regulations respecting meat inspection, N.S. Reg. 46/1990, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 90-180 dated February 13, 1990, to implement a risk-based approach in meat inspection, in the manner set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after April 23, 2026.
