OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated November 28, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 33(1) and 33(2)(a), (e), (

f) and (

g) of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and to Sections 59C(1) and (1A) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) assign to the Minister of Economic Development administration, supervision and control of matters relating to the provision of broadband services to the un-served areas of the Province of Nova Scotia; (

b) approve the Minister of Economic Development entering into agreements with Seaside Communications Inc. and Bragg Communications Inc. for the provision of broadband services to the un-served portions of the Province of Nova Scotia on terms and conditions generally as outlined in Schedules "A" and "B" annexed to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated November 28, 2007; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Economic Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
