OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 5, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) acquire land located in the Counties of Antigonish, Guysborough, Pictou, Inverness and Victoria, shown as parcels 1-15, 18-22, and 24-35, shaded in grey on Schedules "A" and "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, the exact size and location to be negotiated, from NewPage Port Hawkesbury Corp., their trustees, approved successors and assigns, for a total purchase price not to exceed $5 million plus appraisal, survey and legal costs, subject to the condition that NewPage Port Hawkesbury Corp., their trustees, approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
