OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated March 14, 2024, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) acquiring land that is approximately 113 hectares (279 acres) located at West Lake Ainslie, Inverness County, currently identified as PID 50053545 and shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from Yvette Adrienne Marie MacLeod aka Yvette Adrienne Marie Gagne, or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors or assigns for a purchase price of $185,000.00 (plus HST, if applicable), subject to the condition that Yvette Adrienne Marie MacLeod aka Yvette Adrienne Marie Gagne or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors or assigns are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
