OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated March 17, 2015, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to, effective April 1, 2015: (

a) direct that all affairs and matters pertaining to information access and privacy policies, practices, services and resources for the Government of the Province, are assigned to the Department of Internal Services or the Minister of Internal Services; and (

b) direct that a reference in any Act of the Legislature or in any rule, order, regulation, by law, ordinance or proceeding, or in any document whatsoever, with respect to any subsequent transaction, matter or thing relating to the affairs or matters or any of them assigned as aforesaid, be held and construed to be a reference to the Department of Internal Services or to the Minister or Deputy Minister of Internal Services, as the case may be.
