B.C. Reg. 13/2012 , deposited January 26, 2012, pursuant to the NATURAL PRODUCTS MARKETING (BC) ACT [sections 2, 5, 11, 22 and 23]. Order in Council 25/2012, approved and ordered January 26, 2012.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the British Columbia Cranberry Marketing Scheme, 1968, B.C. Reg. 259/68, is amended as set out in the Schedule.

Schedule

Section 3.02 (1) of the British Columbia Cranberry Marketing Scheme, 1968, B.C. Reg. 259/68, is amended by striking out " and " at the end of paragraph (a), by adding " and " at the end of paragraph (

b) and by adding the following paragraph:

(

c) one member who is not a grower, appointed by the commission.

Section 3.02 (2) is repealed.

Section 3.03 (1) is repealed and the following substituted:

(1) The commission must establish and publish rules and procedures for the election of commission members referred to in

section 3.02 (1) (b), and for the selection of the commission member referred to in

section 3.02 (1) (c).

Section 4.01 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(

p) the powers set out in

section 11 (1) (

o) of the Act.

5 The following

section is added:

Approval under

section 5 of the Act

4.02 Approval is given for the commission to exercise an authority or function conferred on it by or under a federal Act or by a federal board.
