OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment dated December 15, 2010, and pursuant to
Section 42 of
Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Environment Act, and
Section 5 of N.S. Reg. 27/95, the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board Regulations, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Anthony C. Blouin of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member and designate him as Chair of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing January 11, 2011; (
b) appoint James B. Ross of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing January 11, 2011; (
c) appoint Charles T. Schafer of Waverley, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing January 11, 2011; (
d) appoint Brian T. Smith of Kentville, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Member of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing January 11, 2011; (
e) appoint Donald G. Trenholm of Amherst, Cumberland County, as a Member of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board for a term of three years commencing January 11, 2011; (
f) fix the remuneration for the Chair of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board at $400/day for each day the Chair attends to business of the Board, in addition to necessary and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by the Chair in the discharge of his duties; and (
g) fix the remuneration for the members of the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board at $150/day for each day a member attends to business of the Board, in addition to necessary and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by a member in the discharge of his duties.
