Statute: Izaak Walton Killam - Grace Health Centre Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated September 28, 2001, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 26 of the Acts of 1996, the Izaak Walton Killam - Grace Health Centre Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Dr. Noni MacDonald of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Izaak Walton Killam-Grace Health Centre for Children, Women and Families for a term of office of three years commencing October 1, 2001 and ending September 30, 2004; and (

b) determine that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Dr. Noni MacDonald and indemnify her from personal liability provided, however, the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of her activities in relation to the appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and provided that the Province will be in control of a case which it defends.
