OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated March 17, 2020, and pursuant to
Section 18 of
Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, the Public Highways Act, and
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (
a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway, identified as 14 Flat Iron Road, PID # 30342612, containing an area of 0.7 acres, more or less, located at or near Conway, County of Digby more particularly described in
Schedule “A” and shown on
Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (
b) authorize the conveyance of surplus property to Charlene Robicheau, located at 14 Flat Iron Road in Conway, Digby County, for the consideration of $1,399.58 plus HST of $209.94 for a total purchase price of $1,609.52; and (
c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to affect the conveyance of the lands herein above described.
