Statute: Voluntary Planning Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Chair of the Treasury and Policy Board dated February 10, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 496 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Voluntary Planning Act, is pleased to: (

a) accept the resignation and revoke the appointment of David F. Bellefontaine of Hatchett Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board; (

b) accept the resignation and revoke the appointments of Dr. Angela Griffiths of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Robert Waldon of Bedford, Halifax Regional Muncipality, as members of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board; (

c) reappoint J. Colin Dodds of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board for a term commencing June 1, 2004, and ending May 31, 2006; (

d) reappoint James Henley of Lawrencetown, Halifax Regional Municipality, Teresa MacNeil of Johnstown, Richmond County, and Daniel MacInnes of Antigonish, Antigonish County, as members of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board for a term commencing June 1, 2004, and ending May 31, 2007; (

e) appoint Malcolm Shookner of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, J.D. (Jim) Eisenhauer of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County, and Louis Tousignant of R.R.#1 Brooklyn, Queens County, as members of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board for a term commencing February 25, 2005, and ending May 31, 2008; and (

f) designate Ronald E. Smith of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Chair of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board.
