Statute: Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act dated September 22, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 9, 10, 12 and 15 of

Chapter 3 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1987, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, is pleased, effective November 3, 2009, to: (

a) appoint Paul F. Taylor of Halifax, as an alternate, non civil servant member to the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board for a term of office of six years, to serve only in the absence or incapacity of any provincial member appointed to the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board; and (

b) determine that Paul F. Taylor shall receive an annual retainer of $5,000.00 and $300.00 per day for each day spent on Board business and that he shall be reimbursed for reasonable travelling expenses in accordance with the Nova Scotia Government Management Manual.
