Order in Council 1640/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario has, by an Address presented to the Lieutenant Governor in Council on the 26 th day of November, 2020, requested the reappointment of Dr. David Williams as Chief Medical Officer of Health for the Province of Ontario commencing February 16, 2021 until September 1, 2021;

Therefore , pursuant to subsections 81 (1) and (1.1) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act ,
