OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education, dated October 23, 2019, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 6 of

Chapter 37 of the Acts of 2010, the Labour Board Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Jean Candy of Windsor, Hants County as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 14, 2019; (

b) appoint Martin MacPhee of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (New Victoria) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

c) appoint Catherine Murphy of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

d) appoint Jameal Wall of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (North Sydney) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

e) reappoint Cordell Cole of Halifax Regional Municipality (White’s Lake) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

f) reappoint Kenneth Estabrooks of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

g) reappoint Thomas Patterson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

h) reappoint Deborah Ryan of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 1 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

i) reappoint Betty Jean Sutherland of Westville, Pictou County as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

j) reappoint Larry Wark of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

k) appoint Stephen Graves of Windsor, Hants County as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

l) appoint James McKee of Enfield, Hants County as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

m) appoint Susan Power of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

n) reappoint Rick Anderson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Head of Chezzetcook) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

o) reappoint Clayton Bartlett of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Sydney) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 14, 2019; (

p) reappoint George Fox of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

q) reappoint George Hall of Windsor, Hants County as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 7, 2019; (

r) reappoint Gordon MacLean of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

s) reappoint Adrian Morrison of Halifax Regional Municipality (Wellington) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 14, 2019; (

t) reappoint Connie Nolan of Belnan, Hants County as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

u) reappoint Robert Shepherd of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 14, 2019; (

v) reappoint Allan Stapleton of Halifax Regional Municipality (Middle Sackville) as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing November 13, 2019; (

w) fix the remuneration of each of the employee and employer members of the Labour Board in the following aggregate amounts, payable to each for their service as an employer or employee member of the Labour Board: (i) $200.00 per day for each day the member conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii) $150.00 per day for each day the member necessarily attends to the business of the Labour Board, as a member, except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii) such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by the member in the discharge of their duties, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
