OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated July 2, 2014, and (

a) pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act , is pleased to: (

i) re-appoint G.R. William (Bill) Lahey of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Carl Breckenridge of Halifax Regional Municipality (Upper Tantallon) and Maureen Summers, of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation for a term of three years commencing on July 30, 2014; (ii) revoke the appointment of Corina Walsh of Halifax Regional Municipality (Lower Sackville) as a member of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation effective July 30, 2014; and (iii) revoke the appointment of Dr.

Jean Gray of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation effective July 30, 2014; and (

b) pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998 the Health Research Foundation Act , is pleased to: (

i) appoint G.R. William (Bill) Lahey of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation for a term of three years commencing on July 30, 2014; and (ii) appoint Robert C. Bailey of Sydney, Cape Breton County as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation for a term commencing on July 30, 2014 and ending on May 6, 2016.
