PRESCRIBED AMOUNTS (PETROLEUM ROYALTY)

AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Deputy Minister of Energy (M.O. 12/97) pursuant to

section 1.1

of the Petroleum Royalty Regulation (Alta. Reg. 248/90).

1 The Prescribed Amounts (Petroleum Royalty) Regulation (AR 47/93) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 55(

t) is repealed.

Section 56 is amended

(

a) by adding the following after clause (d):

(d.1) the new oil par price is $155.99 per cubic metre;

(

b) by repealing clause (t).

4 The following is added after

section 56:

57 The following are prescribed for the month of July, 1997:

(

a) the old non-heavy oil par price is $165.09 per

cubic metre;

(

b) the old heavy oil par price is $123.61 per cubic

metre;

(

c) the new non-heavy oil par price is $165.09 per

cubic metre;

(

d) the new heavy oil par price is $123.61 per cubic

metre;

(

e) the third tier non-heavy oil par price is $165.09

per cubic metre;

(

f) the third tier heavy oil par price is $123.61 per

cubic metre;

(

g) the old non-heavy oil royalty factor is 2.975023;

(

h) the old heavy oil royalty factor is 3.000000;

(

i) the new non-heavy oil royalty factor is 3.000000;

(

j) the new heavy oil royalty factor is 2.720567;

(

k) the third tier non-heavy oil royalty factor is

3.000000;

(

l) the third tier heavy oil royalty factor is

3.000000;

(

m) the old non-heavy oil select price is $26.36 per

cubic metre;

(

n) the old heavy oil select price is $26.36 per cubic

metre;

(

o) the new non-heavy oil select price is $83.99 per

cubic metre;

(

p) the new heavy oil select price is $56.65 per cubic

metre;

(

q) the third tier non-heavy oil select price is

$120.55 per cubic metre;

(

r) the third tier heavy oil select price is $120.55

per cubic metre.

Public Sector Pension Plans Act

SPECIAL FORCES PENSION PLAN AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Special Forces Pension Board pursuant to

section 4 of

Schedule

4 of the Public Sector Pension Plans Act.

1 The Special Forces Pension Plan (AR 369/93) is amended by this

Regulation.

2 The following is added after

section 78:

Increase on 1992-95 service

78.1 With effect from January 1, 1997, pensions granted on or before

December 1, 1996 are increased, relative to that part of the pensions that

is payable with respect to service from January 1, 1992 to December 31,

1995, by the following percentage of the amount that would otherwise be

payable relative to that service as at January 1, 1997:

(

a) for a pension granted on or before January 1, 1996,

1.26%;

(

b) for a pension granted after January 1, 1996 but on

or before February 1, 1996, 1.16%;

(

c) for a pension granted after February 1, 1996 but on

or before March 1, 1996, 1.05%;

(

d) for a pension granted after March 1, 1996, but on

or before April 1, 1996, 0.95%;

(

e) for a pension granted after April 1, 1996, but on

or before May 1, 1996, 0.84%;

(

f) for a pension granted after May 1, 1996, but on or

before June 1, 1996, 0.74%;

(

g) for a pension granted after June 1, 1996, but on or

before July 1, 1996, 0.63%;

(

h) for a pension granted after July 1, 1996, but on or

before August 1, 1996, 0.53%;

(

i) for a pension granted after August 1, 1996, but on

or before September 1, 1996, 0.42%;

(

j) for a pension granted after September 1, 1996, but

on or before October 1, 1996, 0.32%;

(

k) for a pension granted after October 1, 1996, but on

or before November 1, 1996, 0.21%;

(

l) for a pension granted after November 1, 1996, but

on or before December 1, 1996, 0.11%.

Insurance Act

FEES, FORMS AND CERTIFICATES EXPIRY AMENDMENT REGULATION

Filed: June 11, 1997

Made by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (O.C. 251/97) pursuant to

section 22 of the Insurance Act.

1 The Fees, Forms and Certificates Expiry Regulation (AR 478/81) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 1.1 is amended

(

a) by renumbering it as

section 1.1(1);

(

b) by adding the following after subsection (1):

(2) The requirement to pay a fee under subsection (1) in a

year does not apply to a fraternal society or a mutual benefit society if,

in the preceding calendar year, the society received premiums totalling

less than $500 000 from its members who, at the time of paying the

premiums, were resident in Alberta.

CALGARY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VICINITY PROTECTION

AREA AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (O.C. 254/97) pursuant to

section 693 of the Municipal Government Act.

1 The Calgary International Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation

(AR 318/79) is amended by this Regulation.

Schedule C is amended

(

a) in

section 1

(

i) in subsection (4) by adding "together with a

related school and day care facility" after "use";

(ii) by adding the following after subsection (4):

(5) Notwithstanding any other provision of this

Regulation, development for a school is permitted on Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block

1, Plan 8110952 (subject to compliance with the exterior acoustic

insulation requirements of

Part 11 of the Alberta Building Code 1990).

(

b) in Table 2 by striking out "Part 12 of the Alberta Building

Code 1981 (AR 128/81)" and substituting "Part 11 of the Alberta Building

Code 1990".
