OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 4, 2016, and pursuant to subsection 7(
c) and clause 16(1)(
a) of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources: (
a) issuing a grant or deed to convey Crown lands containing approximately 1.14 hectares (2.82 acres), located at Trout Brook, East Lake Ainslie, Inverness County, and shown as Lots A and B on the plan marked
Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to MacKinnon’s Campground Ltd., a body corporate having its registered office at East Lake Ainslie, in the County of Inverness, Province of Nova Scotia; (
b) issuing a grant or deed to convey a parcel of Crown lands containing approximately 0.2 hectares (0.49 acres), located at Trout Brook, East Lake Ainslie, Inverness County, and shown as Lot C on the plan marked
Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to Michael Joseph Gillis and Karen Ann Gillis of East Lake Ainslie, in the County of Inverness, Province of Nova Scotia; (
c) accepting from Michael Joseph Gillis and Karen Ann Gillis, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators, and approved successors and assigns, a parcel of land containing approximately 39.7 hectares (98.10 acres), located at Trout Brook, East Lake Ainslie, Inverness County, shown as Lot D on the plan marked
Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to the condition that Michael Joseph Gillis and Karen Ann Gillis, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators, and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (
d) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
