Statute: Solemnization of Marriage Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated February 5, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 14 of

Chapter 436 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Solemnization of Marriage Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Richard Johnson, which appointment was made by Order in Council 96-645; (

b) revoke the appointment of Wendy Adams, which appointment was made by Order in Council 96-516; and (

c) appoint Carol Carlson of Halifax Regional Municipality as a Deputy Issuer of Marriage Licenses, effective January 30, 2004.
