OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated September 11, 2007, and pursuant to

section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works, or designate, to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Transport Canada in regards to the formulation of an Atlantic Gateway Strategy in cooperation with the Governments of Canada and the other three Atlantic provinces and to recognize the objectives of the Atlantic Gateway Federal/Provincial Officials Committee, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of this report and recommendation effective on or after September 13, 2007.
