OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated December 29, 1999, pursuant to the Public Service Act, the
Interpretation Act, the Public Service Superannuation Act, the Civil Service Act and all other authority in him vested is pleased, effective January 5, 2000, to: (
a) revoke the appointments of the undernoted persons from the positions set out opposite their names: Martin Delaney, P.Eng. Acting Deputy Minister of Transportation and Public Works; and Edgar G. Cramm Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Ronald L'Esperance Deputy Minister of Community Services; Howard Windsor Acting Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture; (
b) appoint the undernoted persons to the positions set out opposite their names: Brian Stonehouse Deputy Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs; Howard Windsor Deputy Minister of Transportation and Public Works; Ronald L'Esperance Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Edgar G. Cramm Deputy Minister of Community Services; Michele M. McKenzie Acting Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture; (
c) designate those persons appointed in paragraph (
b) as Deputy Heads within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and direct that they shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of Deputy Minister; (
d) designate those persons appointed in paragraph (
b) to be and to have been employees for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (
e) fix and determine the salaries of those persons appointed by paragraph (
b) to be paid at such rate as may be determined by the Priorities and Planning Committee in accordance with the Management Compensation Pay Plan approved from time to time by the Governor in Council.
