B.C. Reg. 156/2007, deposited June 1, 2007, pursuant to the INSURANCE CORPORATION ACT [Sections 7, 8 and 39]. Order in Council 344/2007, approved and ordered May 30, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective June 1, 2007, the regulations listed below are amended as set out below.

Application of Legislation Regulation

1 The Application of Legislation Regulation, B.C. Reg. 322/2003, is amended in sections 1 and 2 (2) and (3) by striking out "automobile insurance" wherever it occurs and substituting "vehicle insurance".

Exclusion Regulation

2 The Exclusion Regulation, B.C. Regulation, 153/73, is amended

(

a) in

section 1 by striking out everything after "administer" and substituting "a plan of universal compulsory vehicle insurance as defined in the Insurance (Vehicle) Act ." , and

(

b) by repealing

section 2 and substituting the following:

2 All other classes of insurance and reinsurance defined in the Insurance Act or a regulation under that Act are designated and approved as classes of insurance and reinsurance which the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia is authorized to engage in and carry on.
