Statute: Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Office of Addictions and Mental Health dated January 3, 2023, and pursuant to

Section 65 of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Kim Fleming of Halifax Regional Municipality (Windsor Junction) as a lay member of the Review Board for a term of three (3) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

b) appoint Angus Macquarrie of Doctor's Brook, Antigonish County, as a lay member of the Review Board for a term of four (4) years commencing January 24, 2023; and (

c) re-appoint Jean Candy of Sweets Corner, Queens County, and Martin Zwicker of Halifax Regional Municipality (Fletchers Lake) as lay members of the Review Board, both for a term of three (3) years commencing January 24, 2023.
