Order in Council 584/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Algonquin Forestry Authority Act , and effective the date this Order in Council is made, the remuneration of persons appointed to the board of directors of the Algonquin Forestry Authority, is as follows:

The Chair of the board shall be paid at the rate of $300 per diem;

The Vice-Chair of the board shall be paid at the rate of $200 per diem; and

The other members of the board shall be paid at the rate of $175 per diem.

Appointees shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Algonquin Forestry Authority, in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other relevant Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet directives.

Further, Order in Council numbered O.C. 2652/88 is revoked.
