An Act to Amend the Ombudsman Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1 The Ombudsman Act,

chapter O-5 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by adding after subsection 2(8) the following: 2(9) The selection committee shall be established not fewer than 90 days before the end of the term of the Om- budsman. 2(10) If the office of Ombudsman becomes vacant more than one year before the end of the term of the Ombuds- man, the selection committee shall be established within 30 days after the vacancy occurs. Loi sur l’Ombudsman,

chapitre O-5 des Lois ré- visées de 1973, est modifiée par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragraphe 2(8) : 2(9) Le comité de sélection est constitué au moins jours avant la fin du mandat de l’Ombudsman. 2(10) Si le poste d’Ombudsman devient vacant plus d’un an avant la fin du mandat de l’Ombudsman, le co- mité de sélection est constitué dans les jours suivant la vacance.
