Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works, dated August 28, 2001, pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) dispose of certain lands, situate at or near Waterville, Kings County, and Centre, Lunenburg County, and more particularly described in Schedules "A" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the former Lunenburg County Correctional Facility property to the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, for the price of $1.00; (

c) convey the former Kings County Correctional Facility property to the Municipality of the County of Kings, for the price of $1.00; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute Deeds of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
