On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the British Columbia Broiler Hatching Egg Scheme, B.C. Reg. 432/88, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1,

(

b) the British Columbia Chicken Marketing Scheme, 1961, B.C. Reg. 188/61, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2, and

(

c) the British Columbia Turkey Marketing Scheme, B.C. Reg. 174/66, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 3.

Schedule 1

Section 5 (1) of the British Columbia Broiler Hatching Egg Scheme, B.C. Reg. 432/88, is amended

(

a) by striking out “ at least once a year in the month of May, or as soon as possible afterwards, ” and substituting “ , at least once in every year, ”, and

(

b) by striking out “ at least 14 days notice ” and substituting “ the registered producers at least 21 days notice ”.

Schedule 2

Section 3.03 (1) of the British Columbia Chicken Marketing Scheme, 1961, B.C. Reg. 188/61, is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

a) by striking out “ , and ” and substituting “ . ”, and

(

b) by repealing paragraph (b).

Section 3.15 is amended

(

a) by striking out “ at least once in each year in the month of May or as soon afterwards as may be conveniently possible ” and substituting “ , at least once in every year, ”, and

(

b) by striking out “ not less than 14 days ” and substituting “ at least 21 days ”.

Schedule 3

Section 20 (1) of the British Columbia Turkey Marketing Scheme, B.C. Reg. 174/66, is amended by striking out “ no later than March 31 in each year, the meeting to be held, if possible, at the same time and place as the annual general meeting of the British Columbia Turkey Association. ” and substituting “ , at least once in every year, of the registered growers and give the registered growers at least 21 days notice of the time and place of that meeting. ”
