OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated March 21, 2019, and pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Lands and Forestry: (

a) acquiring approximately 215.87 hectares (533.43 acres) of land located at Homeville, Cape Breton County, Nova Scotia, currently identified as PIDs 15854581, 15368236, 15375199, and 15854573 and shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from Lansdowne Forest Management Limited, or its approved successors and assigns, for a purchase price of $250,000 (plus HST if applicable), subject to the condition that Lansdowne Forest Management Limited, or its respective approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
