Change of Area of an Irrigation District

On behalf of the Western Irrigation District, I hereby request that the Irrigation

Secretariat forward a certified copy of this notice to the Registrar of Land Titles for

the purposes of registration under

section 22 of the Land Titles Act and arrange for

notice to be published in the Alberta Gazette.

new construction to the exiting facility, modifications to the existing high pressure

requirements, and modifications to the louver design due to the existing facility needs

and assumptions made during design. Lastly, cost escalation was experienced on

asphalt paving, and landscape electrical trenching. Contract percent is cumulative.

quarter increase report of $7.00 million is required to fund additional construction

extension cost and changes post turnover to ensure all the systems are operating in

sync. Contract change, of $54.00 million, is cumulative.

existing membrane is observed to have deteriorated significantly, resulting in leakage

and de-bonding which has impacted the performance of the membrane assembly. The

waterproof membrane needs to be replaced to protect the underlying tunnel structure

form water ingress.
