OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated August 22, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to approve: (

a) the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture entering into the Atlantic Framework Agreement for the Atlantic Fisheries Fund Program (the “Atlantic Framework Agreement”) with the Governments of Canada, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the Atlantic Framework Agreement and such additional operational agreements and appendices as are necessary to implement the Atlantic Framework Agreement; and (

b) the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture entering into the bilateral (Canada-Nova Scotia) funding agreement that is Annex 3 of the Atlantic Framework Agreement, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “B”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the funding agreement and such additional operational agreements and appendices as are necessary to implement the funding agreement.
