OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated December 3, 2025, and pursuant to
Section 77 of
Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to: (
a) approve the Minister of Public Works entering into a net debt obligation for capital expenses associated with implementation of the 2026-2027 Highway Improvement Plan; and (
b) approve an additional net debt obligation of $25,000,000 for capital expenses under the Highway Program to address cost pressures for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
