OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated September 29, 2020, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to, effective October 20, 2020, approve the Attorney General and Minister of Justice entering into a Project Funding Agreement for the period of April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2023 with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, regarding the continuation of a Family Information Liaison Unit within the Department of Justice Victim Services for families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, substantially in the form or to like effect as set out in
Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
