CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Education Act (Assented to July 9, 1982) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Education Amendment Act, 1982. Rev. Stat. (Supp.) c.E-0.1,

section amended Subsection 18(2) of The Education Act is repealed and the following substituted: “

(2) A school division which comprises an area greater than 1,295 square kilometres shall be divided into any number of sub-divisions that may be required for the purposes of the election of the number of members of the board of education prescribed pursuant to clause 21(1)(e), and the minister shall determine the boundaries of each sub-division in consultation with the Educational Boundaries Commission”.
