CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Limitations Act (Assented to May 17, 2007) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advi ce and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Limitations Amendment Act, 2007. S.S. 2004, c.L-16.1 amended The Limitations Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended Subsection 7(3) is repealed. New

section 7.1 The following

section is added after

section 7: “Limitation period for judgments, orders 7.1 With respect to a claim based on a judgment or order for the payment of money, no proceeding shall be commenced after 10 years from the date of the judgment or order”.

Section amended Subsection 11(2) is amended by striking out “ or” after clause (

a) and substituting “and”.

Section amended Subsection 14(1) is amended by striking out “ notice of”.

Section amended Clause 15(

b) is amended by striking out “subsection 7(3)” and substituting “section 7.1”.

Section amended Subsection 21(2) is amended by adding “ the limitation period established by
