Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 2, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act, and subsection 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased, effective on and after October 8, 2024, to appoint Tracey Taweel as Acting Clerk of the Executive Council, to act in the place of the Clerk of the Executive Council whenever the Clerk of the Executive Council is unavailable or otherwise unable to perform the duties of their office.
