OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated September 14, 2004, and pursuant to Sections 238 and 239 of

Chapter 10 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint the following persons as full-time appeal commissioners of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal, each for a term of office extending from April 1, 2006, up to and including October 31, 2006, subject to dismissal for just cause: Alison Hickey of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Andrea L. Smillie of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County; Leanne Rodwell Hayes of Windsor Junction, Halifax Regional Municipality; Glen Johnson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Alexander C.W. MacIntosh of R.R.#3 Truro, Colchester County; Louanne Labelle of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; and K. Andrew MacNeil of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

b) reappoint the following persons as full-time appeal commissioners of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal, each for a term of office extending from April 1, 2005, up to and including October 31, 2006, subject to dismissal for just cause: Gary H. Levine of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Michelle R. Margolian of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; David S. Pearson of Chelsea, R.R.#6 Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; and Brian E. Sharp of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

c) fix the remuneration of Alison Hickey, Andrea L. Smillie, Leanne Rodwell Hayes, Glen Johnson, Alexander C.W. MacIntosh, Louanne Labelle, K. Andrew MacNeil, Gary H. Levine, Michelle R. Margolian, David S. Pearson and Brian E. Sharp as full-time appeal commissioners in accordance with a salary range equivalent to the Civil Service Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 20) in the range of $50,121.50 to $65,158.08, subject to all applicable enactments, regulations and policies of the Public Service Commission with respect to the Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 20); and (

d) order that Civil Service benefits be extended to Alison Hickey, Andrea L. Smillie, Leanne Rodwell Hayes, Glen Johnson, Alexander C.W. MacIntosh, Louanne Labelle, K. Andrew MacNeil, Gary H. Levine, Michelle R. Margolian, David S. Pearson and Brian E. Sharp as full-time appeal commissioners of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the Civil Service.
