Section 2 of the Tuition Tax Cash Back Credit Act,

chapter T-16.5 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2006, is repealed and the following is substituted: 1 L’article 2 de la

Loi sur le remboursement du crédit d’impôt pour les frais de scolarité,

chapitre T-16.5 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2006, est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit : 2 This Act applies to the 2006 taxation year up to and including the 2014 taxation year. 2 La présente loi s’applique aux années d’imposition 2006 à 2014 inclusivement. 2 Subsection 3(7) of the Act is repealed and the fol- lowing is substituted: 2 Le paragraphe 3(7) de la Loi est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit : 3(7) Despite any other provision in this section, no ap- plication for a tax credit shall be made on or after Janu- ary 1, 2016. 3(7) Par dérogation à toute autre disposition du présent article, nul ne peut présenter une demande de crédit d’impôt à partir du 1er janvier 2016. 3 Paragraph 4(5)(

SAVING AND TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS, CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS, REPEAL AND COMMMENCEMENT DISPOSITIONS TRANSITOIRES ET DE SAUVEGARDE, MODIFICATIONS CORRÉLATIVES, ABROGATION ET ENTRÉE EN VIGUEUR Saving and transitional provision Disposition transitoire et de sauvegarde 4 Despite sections 7 and 8 of this Act, the Tuition Tax Cash Back Credit Act, New Brunswick Regulation 2007-20 under the Tuition Tax Cash Back Credit Act and

section 30.1 of the New Brunswick Income Tax Act, as they existed immediately before January 1, 2016, continue to apply on or after January 1, 2016, with respect to the following as if they had not been re- pealed: 4 Par dérogation aux articles 7 et 8 de la présente loi, la

a) an application for a tax credit made on or be- fore December 31, 2015; and

b) a tax credit to which an eligible individual is or may be entitled to under that Act, regulation or sec- tion immediately before January 1, 2016.

Section 30.1 of the New Brunswick Income Tax Act,

chapter N-6.001 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2000, is amended 6 L’article 30.1 de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu du Nouveau-Brunswick,

chapitre N-6.001 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2000, est modifié (

a) by repealing subsection (2) and substituting the following:
