Order in Council 1038/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, the Lieutenant Governor in Council has appointed Catherine Zahn, MD , FRCPC to serve as Deputy Minister of Health effective September 7, 2021;

Pursuant to the authority cited above, and despite Order in Council 1374/2019, during the term of her appointment as Deputy Minister of Health pursuant to Order in Council O.C. 1037/2021, Catherine Zahn, MD , FRCPC shall be paid a fixed salary of $479,000 per annum , less any required deductions.
