OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated October 22, 2007, and pursuant to subsections 18(1), (2), (3), and (4) of the General Blasting Regulations made under

Section 82 of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Kevin Beaton of Port Hastings, Inverness County, as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters and designate him as Chair for a term of office of three (3) years commencing November 13, 2007; (

b) fix the remuneration for Kevin Beaton at the rate of $2000 per annum in addition to the $100 for each day he attends as a member and Chair of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters, to the business of the Board, in addition to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

c) reappoint David Clark of Truro, Colchester County, as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters for a term of office of three (3) years commencing November 13, 2007; and (

d) fix the remuneration for David Clark at the rate of $100 for each day he attends as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters, to the business of the Board, in addition to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
