STATUTES CORRECTION REGULATION, 2007

Corrections to Ministry of Agriculture and Lands statutes

1 The Land Title Act is corrected as set out in

Schedule 1.

Corrections to Ministry of Community Services statutes

2 The Local Government Act is corrected as set out in

Schedule 2,

Corrections to Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources statutes

3 The Mineral Land Tax Act is corrected as set out in

Schedule 3.

Corrections to Ministry of Environment statutes

4 The following statutes are corrected as set out in

Schedule 4:

(

a) Environmental Management Act ;

(

b) Protected Areas of British Columbia Act ;

(

c) Wildlife Act .

Corrections to Ministry of Finance statutes

5 The following statutes are corrected as set out in

(

10 The Motor Vehicle Act is corrected as set out in

Schedule 1

Land Title Act

Section 385 (2) (

o) of the Land Title Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 250, is

amended by striking out "a approved" and substituting "an

approved".

Schedule 2

Local Government Act

Section 910 (2) of the Local Government Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 323,

is amended by striking out "subsection (1)" and substituting "subsection (1.1)".

Schedule 3

Mineral Land Tax Act

Section 13 (8) of the Mineral Land Tax , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 290, is

amended by striking out "inadvertance" and substituting "inadvertence".

Schedule 4

Environmental Management Act

Section 106 (4) of the Environmental Management Act , S.B.C. 2003, c.

53, is amended by striking out "subsection (3) (d)" and

substituting "subsection (3) (b) (iv)".

Protected Areas of British Columbia Act

Schedule D of the Protected Areas of British Columbia Act , S.B.C. 2000, c. 17, is amended in the description of Purcell Wilderness Conservancy

Park by striking out "Skookumchuk" and substituting "Skookumchuck"

wherever it appears.

Wildlife Act

Section 36 (2) (

c) of the Wildlife Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 488, is

amended by striking our "an employee of the Ministry of Environment,

Lands and Parks" and substituting "an employee of the ministry for

which the minister is responsible".

Schedule 5

Pension Benefits Standards Act

Section 40 (3) of the Pension Benefits Standards Act , R.S.B.C. 1996,

c. 352, is amended by striking out "mental or":

Personal Property Security Act

Section 47 of the Personal Property Security Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c.

359, is amended by striking out "part of, any person of" and

substituting "part of any person of,".

Schedule 6

Forest Act

Section 10 (2) of the Forest Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 157, is amended

by striking out "under Divisions 2, 3 and 6 of

Part 3" and

substituting "under Divisions 2, 3 and 7 of

Part 3".

Section 45 (1) (

d) is amended by striking out "must require"

and substituting "require".

Section 103.1 (3) is amended by striking out "removed in

accordance with in the agreement or the cutting permit" and substituting "removed

in accordance with the agreement or the cutting permit".

Forest and Range Practices Act

4 Sections 149.1 (1) (

a) and (2) and 150.1 (

I) and (2) of the Forest and Range Practices Act , S.B.C. 2002, c. 69, are amended by striking out "Minister of Water, Land and Air Protection" and substituting "minister responsible for the

Wildlife Act ".

Section 150 (1) (

a) is repealed and thee following substituted:

(

a) authorizing

(

i) the minister responsible for the Land Act to designate an area of land in a watershed as a community watershed, or

(ii) the minister responsible for the Water Act to establish water quality objectives in relation to a community watershed, and.

Section 150.3 (1) (

a) is amended by striking out "Minister of Sustainable Resource Management" and substituting "minister responsible for the

Land Act ",

Section 191 (3) (

a) is amended by striking out "section 70

(3)" and substituting "section 70 (2)".

Manufactured Home Park Tenancy Act

Section 96 (2) of the Manufactured Home Park Tenancy Act , S.B.C. 2002, c. 77, is amended by repealing paragraphs (c), (

d) and (e).

Schedule 7

Employment Standards Act

Section 75 (2) of the Employment Standards Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c.

113, is amended by striking out "section 45 (2) and (3)" and

substituting "section 44 (2) and (3)".

Schedule 8

Motor Dealer Act

Section 15 (3.1) (

c) of the Motor Dealer Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 316,

is amended by striking out "traveling" and substituting "travelling".

Schedule 9

Home Owner Grant Act

Section 15 of the Home Owner Grant Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 194, is amended by striking out " Local Government Act " and substituting " Community Charter ".

Hotel Room Tax Act

Section 3 (3) of the Hotel Room Tax Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 207, is

amended by striking out "subsection (1)" and substituting "subsection

(2)".

Property Transfer Tax Act

Section 4 (1) of the Property Transfer Tax Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c.

378, is amended by striking out "sections 4.1 to 12" and

substituting "sections 4.1 to 12:".

Tobacco Tax Act

4 Sections 6 (7) and 13 (

f) of the Tobacco Tax Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 452, are amended by striking out " Tobacco Sales Act " and substituting " Tobacco Control Act ".

Schedule 10

Motor Vehicle Act

Section 82 (11) of the Motor Vehicle Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 318, is

amended by striking out "and of other records" and substituting "and

other records".
