Statute: Short-term Rentals Registration Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing dated June 4, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 9 of the Acts of 2019, the Short-term Rentals Registration Act , is pleased, effective on and after September 30, 2024, to: (

a) repeal the Tourist Accommodations Registration Regulations, N.S. Reg. 16/2020, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2020-023 dated January 30, 2020; and (

b) make new regulations respecting short-term rentals registration, in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
