B.C. Reg. 168/2025 , deposited October 27, 2025, under the DRINKING WATER PROTECTION ACT [sections 48 (2) and 49 (1)]. Order in Council 492/2025, approved and ordered October 27, 2025.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Drinking Water Protection Regulation, B.C. Reg. 200/2003, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix

Section 1 of the Drinking Water Protection Regulation, B.C. Reg. 200/2003, is amended

(

a) in the definition of "connection" by adding " private " before " dwelling ",

(

b) by adding the following definition:

"domestic connection" means the line from the water main to a private dwelling; , and

(

c) by adding the following definition:

"specified domestic small system" means a small system that has fewer than 5 domestic connections; .

Section 6 (3) is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

b) by striking out " or " after " water tank, ",

(

b) by adding the following paragraph:

(b.1) for a specified domestic small system, or , and

(

c) in paragraph (

c) by adding " other than a specified domestic small system " after " small system ".

Schedule A is amended by striking out " 100 ml " wherever it appears and substituting " 100 mL ".
