OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal and the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 1, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to approve: (

a) the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal and the Minister of Natural Resources entering into an Interchange and Land Accesses Agreement with the Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation and the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development on the terms and conditions set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the agreement and such additional operational agreements and appendices as are necessary to implement the agreement; and (

b) the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal entering into an Access Permit agreement with the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development on the terms and conditions set forth in

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the agreement and such additional operational agreements and appendices as are necessary to implement the agreement.
