Statute: Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated September 5, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2000, the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act , is pleased to: (

a) re-appoint James Bremner of Falmouth, Hants County, as member and Chair of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a three year term, commencing September 11, 2018; (

b) appoint Carl DeNuke of GranviIle Ferry, Annapolis County, as a member of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a two year term, commencing September 11, 2018; (

c) appoint Robert Palmeter of North Grand Pre, Kings County, as a member of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a one year term, commencing September 11, 2018; (

d) determine that James Bremner be remunerated for his service as member and Chair in the amount of $125 per day for each meeting day and that he be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as Chair, provided that any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service; and (

e) determine that Carl DeNuke and Robert Palmeter be remunerated for their service as members in the amount of $100 per day for each meeting day and that they be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties as members, provided that any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service.
