I, Josie Osborne, Minister of Municipal Affairs, order that

(

a) the Dispute Resolution Regulation, B.C. Reg. 42/2006, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1,

(

b) the Regional District Special Voting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 41/91, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2, and

(

c) the Subdivision Regulations, B.C. Reg. 262/70, are amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 3.

Schedule 1

Section 4 of the Dispute Resolution Regulation, B.C. Reg. 42/2006, is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by striking out " he or she " and substituting " the person " and by striking out " his or her " and substituting " the person's ", and

(

b) in subsection (2) by striking out " his or her " and substituting " an arbitrator's " and by striking out " an arbitrator must " and substituting " the arbitrator must ".

Section 5 is amended

(

a) in subsection (4) by striking out " his or her " in both places and substituting " the arbitrator's ", and

(

b) in subsection (6) (

a) by striking out " he or she " and substituting " the arbitrator ".

Section 12 (1) is amended by striking out " his or her selection " and substituting " the selection of the arbitrator ".

Section 16 (1) is repealed and the following substituted:

(1) An arbitrator who replaces an arbitrator may determine the procedures for the arbitration and the manner in which it will be continued.

Section 18 (1) is amended by striking out " his or her selection " and substituting " the selection of the arbitrator ".

Section 26 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by striking out " his or her " and substituting " the arbitrator's ", and

(

b) in subsection (3) by striking out " his or her " and substituting " the ".

Schedule 2

Section 3 (4) of the Regional District Special Voting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 41/91, is amended by striking out " he or she " and substituting " the director ".

Section 3 (5) is amended by striking out "

section 791 of the Act regarding the counting of votes at meetings of the board, except

section 791 (10), " and substituting " sections 206 to 214 of the Act regarding the counting of votes at meetings of the board, except

section 207 (3), ".

Schedule is amended by striking out " the Skeena-Queen Charlotte Regional District " and substituting " the North Coast Regional District ".

Schedule 3

Section 3.01 of the Subdivision Regulations, B.C. Reg. 262/70, is amended in the definition of "owner" by striking out " his " and substituting " the person's ".

2 Sections 4.02, 6.01 (

a) and 6.02 are amended by striking out " his " and substituting " that owner's ".

Section 6.06 is amended by striking out " he " and substituting " the medical health officer or the Regional Waste Manager ".

Section 6.08 (1) is amended by striking out " him " and substituting " that owner ".
