An Act to Amend the Legislative Assembly Act Subsection 32.2(5) of the Legislative Assembly Act,

chapter L-3 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by striking out the word “or” at the end of paragraph (a), by striking out the period at the end of paragraph (

b) and substituting a comma followed by “or”, and by adding after paragraph (

b) the following: (

c) to or in relation to a person (

i) to whom

section of the Members Su- perannuation Act applies, or (ii) who, during the period of time following the date on which the person ceased to be a member that is the number of months equal to the number of sessions in respect of which a re-establishment allowance is payable, or such portion thereof remaining, (

A) enters into a contract of any kind with the Province or any crown corporation or agency of the Province, or (

B) has not filed with the Speaker a writ- ten statement and undertaking that the per- son has not and shall not, during such pe- riod, in any manner, on behalf of any person, make representations to the Prov- PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur les pen- sions de retraite des députés s’applique, ou (ii) à qui, la période suivant la date selon la- quelle cette personne a cessé d’être député est le nombre de mois égale au nombre de ses- sions respectives selon laquelle une allocation de rétablissement est payable, ou une part de cette allocation restant, (

A) passe un contrat de toute sorte avec la province ou toute corporation de la Cou- ronne ou agence de la province, ou (

B) n’a pas soumis de déclaration écrite au président et promettant que cette per- sonne n’a pas ou ne devra pas, pendant cette période, d’une quelconque façon, de la part de toute personne, faire de demande Projet de loi Loi modifiant la
