OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated April 12, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use those portions of the public highway,Highway #3, Parcel A containing an area of 1,090.8 square metres, more or less, and Parcel B containing an area of 943.4 square metres located at or near Highway #3, Gold River, Lunenburg County, more particularly described in

Schedule "A" and shown on

Schedule "B", which Schedules are attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of two parcels of surplus land to Bruce Wayne Hatt of Lunenburg County, being Parcel A for the consideration of $1,643.78 plus HST of $246.57 for a total purchase price of $1,890.35, and Parcel B for the consideration of $1,421.65 plus HST of $213.25 for a total purchase price of $1,634.90; (

c) authorize the Minister of Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Public Works to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
