OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated February 14, 2001, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court for a term of office of one year commencing February 1, 2001, and ending January 31, 2002: J. Patrick Morris of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; Greg J. Turner of Berwick, Kings County; Diane Zwicker of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; J. Walter Thompson, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; W. Augustus Richardson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; (
b) determine the remuneration of the above Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court to be at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) for the first hour of each sitting of the court, seventy-five dollars ($75) per hour or part thereof for each hour thereafter, seventy-five dollars ($75) for a stated case, and authorize payment of travel and accommodation expenses at rates payable to public servants.
