OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 29, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act ,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act , and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective November 1, 2014: (

a) revoke the appointment of Brian Rogers as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture; (

b) revoke the appointment of Kim MacNeil as Associate Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Associate Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture; (

c) appoint Kim MacNeil as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture; (

d) designate Kim MacNeil as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act ; (

e) fix and determine the salary of Kim MacNeil to be at such rate as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier in accordance with the Senior Officials Pay Plan as it applies to Deputy Ministers; and (

f) direct that Kim MacNeil shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan and such other benefits as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier.
