OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated December 17, 2007, and pursuant to Sections 151, 152, and l53 of
Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Mr. Chris Power as member and Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors for the Workers' Compensation Board for a term of five (5) years commencing January 15, 2008; (
b) fix the remuneration for Mr. Chris Power at $3,000 per year and $300 per day for attendance at meetings of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board, for attendance at committee meetings and meeting preparation days in addition to reimbursement for reasonable travelling and other expenses incurred in connection with the work of the Board; and (
c) in addition to the above-noted remuneration, determine that Mr. Power receive a $2,000 annual honorarium for chairing a committee of the Board of Directors.
